Decade of the
UN Security Council resolution 1325 on women and peace and security (2000)
„This landmark resolution reaffirms the important role of women in the prevention and resolution of conflicts, peace negotiations, peacebuilding, peacekeeping, humanitarian response and in post-conflict reconstruction and stresses the importance of their equal participation and full involvement in all efforts for the maintenance and promotion of peace and security.”
ACD-Team has started F*Air initiative to support the current global endeavors toward maintenance of the COVID-19 crisis, peacebuilding, and security in the belief, that equal opportunities for responsible roles in peacebuilding and humanitarian support, security, and beyond, are crucial for success and common progress.
Cultural Diplomacy activities may connect actors from various fields ranging from military to agriculture, fashion, media, art, and beyond, to share and to exchange their visions, experiences, and suggestions for improvement of the human relations at all levels as a pre-condition for the improvement of the living conditions and sustainable development.
Austrian feminist, author, painter, and musician
Rosa Mayreder believed that humanity could achieve lasting peace only if the „Peaceability of Women“ were actively involved in political and social structures.
She was convinced that "changes in the behavior of both, men and women would be needed in order to ensure that society developed in a more peaceable manner.“
Perceiving the term used by Mayreder “Peacebility of Women” as a way of attentive and life-oriented acts within and toward the social and natural environment, F*Air-initiative will promote activities that support the Green economy and Ecology-based education within all sectors. Our interviews with female professionals from across the world will spotlight best practices and inspiring examples for the young generation, build an evidence base for further activities and development of partnerships.
One of the fields, where women are still underrepresented in the field of aviation.
Besides the civilian airlines and military, there is great potential, in the field of agriculture for piloting, humanitarian purposes, and transformation of the war-oriented economies toward investment into life and peace by use of the new technologies and adaptation of the "war machines" into instruments for growth and prevention of the further natural and human disasters.
One inspiring story was found by research during the participation of the ACD-president at the I Panamerican Dance Congress in Rio de Janeiro in 2019. The Art Performance and lecture presentation Árvore da Vida 2030 were prepared on the base of the UN Agenda2030 and inspired by the artwork of the Austrian-born international artist and ecological activist Friedensreich Hundertwasser who has planted over 150.000 trees during his life.
An article about a female pilot from Brazil was presented to dance students as inspiration for choreographic composition and Talk Session on their future roles: Joelize Friedrichs AG Pilot who became ACD-Ambassador for the F*Air initiative.
